Service
DeepLedger provides a search interface and API for publicly available government records and FOIA releases. We index, aggregate, and present this data — we don't create it.
Acceptable use
- Use DeepLedger for lawful purposes: research, journalism, compliance, due diligence.
- Don't use automated scraping to bulk-download our database. Use the API.
- Don't attempt to circumvent rate limits or authentication.
- Don't use the service to harass, stalk, or threaten individuals.
Accounts
You authenticate via email code. You're responsible for maintaining access to your email. One account per person.
Payments
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Search credits are non-refundable but don't expire. Pricing may change with 30 days notice.
Data accuracy
We present public records as-is from their original sources. We make no guarantees about accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Government records can contain errors. Always verify information against primary sources for consequential decisions.
API usage
API access is available on paid plans. Rate limits and usage caps apply per your plan tier. API keys are personal and non-transferable.
Limitation of liability
DeepLedger is provided "as is" without warranty. We're not liable for decisions made based on data found through our service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your account at any time by emailing privacy@deepledger.co.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users.
